Achievements |
- Arun John who lived with us for 6 years dropped out of School while he was doing his seventh standard in Auxilium High School. He has found a job and now he takes care of his Mother and is building his home. He has bought several things for the house and repaired the home. He is a very talented boy. Pray that he would have great success in the future.
- Murugan lived with us for about 4 years and also dropped out of School while he was doing his seventh standard in Ezekiel Methodist School. He does not have both his parents but lives with his grandmother and takes care of her and the home. He also has a nice job that pays him a salary. We are happy for him.
- Sudhir Shinde lived with us for 7 years and also did his seventh standard from Auxilium High School and dropped out. He was then trained by Mr. Prince in the home and sent to Nagpur, Prakash Institute, to do his one year Vocational training. He did his electrical course and returned back in May and now he found a job to work under a contractor as an electrician. He also takes care of his mother and home with the money that he gets. We are happy for him too.
- Soniya Kamble, is with us for the last 8 years and she is in Tenth standard in Auxilium High School, she is being supported for 5 years by the State Bank of India, personal banking, Mira Mar branch. She now has an opportunity to do her bank exams and get into banking as she continues her College studies. She is the Head Girl for her house in the School. That’s a great achievement. God bless her future.
- Rani Gunnam, is with us for the last 3 years and she is in her XII th standard, and her aim is to be a Doctor, we are encouraging her to go ahead and study well so that she gets admission into Medicine in April 2012. It would be a 4 year course.
- Ophelia Menezes, is with us for 3 years and she is doing her second year Bachelor of Arts, B.A course in Social Work, through the Goa Correspondence College. Her aim is to be a Social worker and help the work of Care and Compassion. We want to help her achieve that goal.
- Priyanka Kamble, is with us for 8 years now, she is doing her XII th Arts, in T.B. Cunha Higher Secondary School, she wants to be a School Teacher and so we are helping her to get admissions into the Teachers Training College in April 2012. She has successfully completed her two special Computer courses. One is a two months basic course and the other is an advanced 6 months course both these courses were sponsored by friends abroad. She did this course through a well known Institute called the Manipal Institute of Computer Education in Goa. M.I.C.E. Now she is being selected to do a one year course by the Frankfinn Institute of Air Hostess training in Goa. She has passed her interview and selected so we have pay an advance to secure her place in the course that will begin in the month of June 2012. We have to pay the whole years fees in the month of April 2012. The amount comes to about Rs.78,000/=. We are looking for sponsors to support her in this one year training that will give her job opportunities in the field of Hospitality and Travel agencies etc. We hope and pray that she would also be able to achieve something in life.
